Welcome to The Bookstore located in Downtown Historic Homestead. Walk in and see the difference. We
are an old fashioned bookstore committed to serving each customer with courtesy and respect. We recognize our community has
a wide variety of needs and strive to provide for those needs. You will find The Bookstore welcoming writers, musicians, intellectuals,
children, families and people of all ages, cultures and beliefs.
Our doors opened December 2006 and we have been
providing excellent personal service since. We carry a complete line of books, both new and used. We have an exceptional array
of children’s, teens and young adult books, especially required reading books for both county and private schools.We
are your special order specialist with access to all books in print. If we don’t have your book or author in stock,
please let us know, after all this is your store. We’ll get your book. Have a favorite book from your childhood you
want to read to your children or grandchildren? Let us know and we’ll search high and low to get your copy.
We are a store of events. Check out our events section and see what we have done in the past and what is scheduled for the
future. Our events are designed to enrich the lives of you, our community, by offering stimulating and educational events.
Stop in for your gift needs. We carry a large selection of unique gift items. Many are hand-made and many by community
members. Check out our selection of jewelry, nautical gifts, stationary, educational gifts, home décor and lighting
needs.

bring your own. Check your email, research or surf the web.
